Welcome!

The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is a service organization open to any woman age 18 years or older who can prove lineal descent from an American Revolutionary War Patriot. Much of the work of DAR is accomplished by volunteers in its chapters across the United States and internationally in order to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

The Oak Creek Chapter, NSDAR, welcomes you to beautiful Sedona, Arizona. This picturesque city is surrounded by red-rock monoliths named Coffeepot, Cathedral, and Thunder Mountain. At the north end of the city is the stunning Oak Creek Canyon, a breathtaking chasm that is wildly wonderful as well as relaxing and tranquil. The canyon is also what inspired our chapter name.

Organized in 2006, our small but active chapter works hard together on numerous projects to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism. It is our goal to help you document your lineage back in time to an American Revolutionary War Patriot ancestor. New members will bring new ideas to help our chapter grow. Chapter meetings are scheduled monthly on Mondays. For more information on upcoming meetings and locations, please contact our chapter regent.

Contact our regent or registrar to learn how to join.
